By using this service You accept our following terms and conditions:

This Site is operated by Find a Grandparent Pty Limited ACN 153 667 380, which is a not-for-profit organisation. These Terms and Conditions only apply for the Find a Grandparent Shop. The Shop is part of Find a Grandparent and has been established to raise funds for its main Service, which connects surrogate grandparents with families. 100% of the Shop profits go directly towards the Find a Grandparent Service. Users of the main Find a Grandparent Service who are looking for a surrogate grandparent or family, please note that We have separate Terms and Conditions for You, which can be found here.

Please read and agree with all of the Terms and Conditions contained on this page before You use the Find a Grandparent Shop as they are legally binding. If You don't agree with our Terms and Conditions You must immediately exit this Site. Continued use of our Site constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Find a Grandparent may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this information. Therefore please check our Terms and Conditions every time before using this Site. Your usage of this website following a posting of changes to our Terms and Conditions will mean that You accept the changes made.

Shop The Find a Grandparent Shop which sells articles to raise funds for the main Find a Grandparent Service
Buyer A person who purchases items via the Find a Grandparent Shop

3. Eligibility to use the Find a Grandparent Shop

Only individuals who are 18 years of age or older may use our Shop as they can form legally binding contracts. By using our Shop You warrant that You are at least 18 years old. Individuals under the age of 18 years can only use our Shop under the supervision of a legal guardian who is at least 18 years old. In this case the adult is the User and is responsible for shopping at our Shop.

Find a Grandparent reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

4. Buying from our Shop

4.1. Purchasing

Buyers are responsible for reading the item description before making a purchase. Please note that some of our products are hand-made and therefore might slightly vary from the picture shown on our website. All sales are binding.

Once You have finished the payment process You will receive an email with Your order details. This automatically generated order confirmation e-mail does not constitute acceptance of Your order. It merely documents the fact that We have received Your order. We decide at our own discretion whether We will accept an order or not. We will notify You as soon as possible in the event that We do not intend to carry out Your order. While processing Your order, We will inform You by e-mail if We determine that the products You have ordered are not available. No contract is concluded if the merchandise is not available.

4.2. Payment

Payment must be made using PayPal. You will be directed to the PayPal website when completing the payment process. Please view the terms and conditions for the payment with PayPal on the their website by clicking here.

Please note that all our prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).

4.3. Availability

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including after You have placed Your order. If We cannot fulfill Your order We will let You know as soon as possible and We will refund Your money.

4.4. Variations

Our products are hand-made and might therefore slightly vary from the picture that We provide. If You purchase an article from our Shop You accept this fact and in return You will receive a unique product.

4.5. Shipping

Our shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the purchased products and the Buyer’s location. The exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order before checkout. We offer free shipping on orders over $100.

Our Buyers must provide a current address for the delivery of their purchase. Any items sent to an incorrect address will be the responsibility of they Buyer. We have to pay to have the parcel returned to Us when a Buyer has supplied the incorrect address and We will charge the Buyer to re-post the purchase. Please note that currently We will only ship to addresses within Australia. If You want to place an order from overseas, please contact Us via email.

We will strive to ship all orders within the next 3 business days after receipt of payment unless unforeseen circumstances happen or unless otherwise agreed with the Buyer. Personalised items can take up to 10 days before they are shipped. Our Buyers will receive an email once We have dispatched their order. Usually shipping will take between 3-6 working days so We ask our Buyers to check the whereabouts of the purchase within a week of ordering and to keep an eye out for it to be sitting at their local post office for pick up.

Delivery is by Australia Post. Please note that insurance for delivery is not included in the purchase price. You can contact Us if You would like to have the delivery of Your merchandise insured. We will then provide You with a quote for the added insurance cost.

4.6. Cancellation

Please note that We must receive any cancellations before shipping, which can be as soon as the same business day. If You cancel Your order after shipping, You will be charged for the delivery cost which will be taken out of any refund, and You have to return the item at Your own cost. This excludes individualised items that can only be cancelled before We have started manufacturing them.

5. Disclaimer

5.1. Misuse of our products

Please only use our products according to the their intended use or according to the descriptions that We sometimes supply with the product. This includes the dummy clips that We supply with an information sheet on how to use. Please read the information sheet carefully and follow the instructions on it.

5.2. Refunds and Returns

We voluntarily offer You the option of returning merchandise You purchased from Us if You change Your mind. This allows You to return any items purchased in our Shop at Your own cost within 14 days of shipping. Please fill in the return form on our Site within 14 days and We will contact You to arrange the return of the item, provided the merchandise is complete, unused and undamaged. You are only permitted to inspect the merchandise in a manner similar to trying it on in a store. Please note that We will not refund the shipping costs of Your order.

Please note that this voluntary exchange option does not apply to personalised items or items that are manufactured according to Your specifications.

Beyond this, the legal right of revocation applies.

We shall not be liable for any damages or costs of any type arising out of or in any way connected with Your use of our Services or products. We are also not responsible for damage to items that has clearly occurred during transit. Whilst all effort is made to package items securely, no responsibility is taken for any damage or loss.

In case You received a faulty or damaged item or if the item has been wrongly described on our Site or You receive an incorrectly personalised product (e.g. if a name was spelled incorrectly) - where the error is an error on our behalf - We offer You the choice of a refund or an exchange. You must notify Us immediately after receiving the order if an item is faulty or incorrect, using the return form on our Site. We will then contact You to ask You to email Us a photo of the faulty product. If We decide that the fault is on our side We will arrange the return of the item. We will send You a pre-paid bag for the return. Please return the item to Us in the original packaging together with the return form that We will supply to You. We will either send You a replacement free of charge or a refund will be issued, whichever is more suitable to You. We will contact You to see which option You prefer.

Understandably, if You order a personalised product, We are unable to offer a refund from a typing error You may have made.

Please follow our returns policy carefully as We will not be responsible for any shipping cost or goods lost in transit if You decide to return the item to Us before contacting Us and receiving the pre-paid bag.

6. Copyright

All content of the Find a Grandparent Shop websites including text, graphics, logos, designs, photographs, button icons, images, audio/video clips , data compilations and software and its compilation is the property of Find a Grandparent and/or its suppliers and is protected by Australian and International copyright laws.

You may not modify, create, copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, duplicate, publish, license, create derivative works from, or offer for sale any information contained on, or obtained from, the Find a Grandparent website without our express written consent.

You must obtain our prior written permission before reproducing, adapting, uploading, broadcasting or distributing any part of this Site or to create a link to this Site.

Find a Grandparent is not responsible for the accuracy or opinions expressed on linked third party websites and advertisements. When You access such third party websites You do so at Your own risk. Find a Grandparent takes no responsibility for advertisements on our Site nor do We take any responsibility for the goods or services provided by the advertisers. This includes any injury or damage to our Users resulting from participating or downloading materials in connection with our Service.
